Accuracy, representation and review criteria
No offense or infringements intended. Please contact us to correct any inaccuracies or perceived misrepresentation.
Our aim is to support the hospitality businesses and local producers in the United Kingdom. We aim to promote good food, local produce, local producers, independent businesses, seasonal produce and communities.
We have a strict set of criteria to produced balanced reviews however, we encourage our contributors to have their say in their voice with only light editing.
We will highlight bad service, low quality produce, poor value for money. If a review is truly appalling, we would aim to verify the review and in the first instance give right to reply prior to publication. However, if this is ignored or dismissed we will publish our findings. If any issues highlighted are resolved we will upon notification review the review.
Timescales
These reviews are a snapshot in time. Some reviews may be several years old, so no longer extant either partially or wholly. We would advise that potential visitors to establishments check beforehand weather the establishment is operation at the time of a planned visit. Unfortunately some of the establishments no longer exist, or have changed ownership since the review. It should also be noted that some establishments have seasonal menu’s.
We encourage people to update reviews where possible.
